TAP Team (Trinity Assisting People)
The purpose of the TAP (Trinity Assisting People) ministry is to have an awareness of and commitment to the financial aid and material support of those in need in our congregation and local and global communities. Some of the regular projects of TAP are the Good Samaritan Fund, the monthly Rice Bowl offerings, Hope House support, the Hat/Mitten Tree, Habitat for Humanity support, road cleanup, and Ride Assist. With the FLY committee we help plan and prepare a Helping Hands fundraiser.
The Health Ministry Committee functions under TAP. The Health Ministry Committee provides health topics of interest via Trinity Tidings newsletter and provides blood pressure screenings once a month before and after worship services.
The TAP 125th Anniversary project was a lectern for the CLC. Another 2015 project was a donation to the Dolly Parton Literacy Program.
Current members include Rod Eastby, Jan and Karl Heaver, Carolyn Maurer, Mark and Mel Mueller, Midge Murphy, Ivy Nehls, and Jay and Karen Simko.
Monthly meeting time is the 2nd Thursday @ 6 p.m.
